Privacy Policy
Deluge Forge is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our Chrome extension processes, uses, and safeguards your information when you use the extension.
Strictly Local & Secure: All code synchronization, execution logs, and network interception events are relayed directly inside your browser to your active Deluge Forge IDE tab. Your script data is never sent to remote servers owned by Deluge Forge or third parties.
1. What Data We Process
To provide its core development features, Deluge Forge processes the following types of data:
- Authentication Info (Local-only): We identify Zoho organization namespaces and identifiers locally on your device to dynamically match script files with your local editor workspace folders.
- Website Content: We read Zoho Deluge script content, save payloads, and integration network HTTP requests on Zoho domains to synchronize edits between your browser tab and your IDE workspace.
- User Activity: We capture editor action keystrokes (such as Save, Pull, and Execute shortcuts) to invoke matching development commands.
2. How Data is Transmitted and Stored
- Local Communication (postMessage): All communication between the Zoho script tabs and your Deluge Forge IDE web app is handled strictly inside your browser using secure window-level event messaging.
- No Backend Server Sync: We do not operate external database servers that collect or store your scripting files. Local preferences, mappings, and blacklist configurations are saved offline on your machine using
chrome.storage.local.
3. Data Sharing and Sale
We believe in absolute data ownership. Deluge Forge:
- Does NOT sell, trade, or rent your data to any third parties.
- Does NOT use any analytics, telemetry, or tracking scripts inside the extension context.
- Does NOT use your data for advertising, marketing, profiling, or credit eligibility.
4. User Controls & Data Deletion
Because all configuration data is stored locally in your browser, you can completely erase all files, logs, and settings at any time by right-clicking the Deluge Forge icon in your browser toolbar and selecting Remove from Chrome, or by clearing your browser's extension storage cache.
5. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be published directly on this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically to stay informed about our data handling practices.
